The Scandium release introduces new applications, expanded cross-app capabilities, and a wide range of continuous improvements across Warehouse, Procurement, and Quality processes.
Stock Type Change
The new Stock Type Change application enables users to select one or multiple stock items and update their stock type (blocked, released, quality, etc.), with or without Handling Units (HU), while maintaining full traceability through mandatory or optional change reasons and comments. This application allows teams to quickly block or release stock directly from the field.
Additional posting change capabilities - such as batch or material updates - will be introduced in upcoming versions.

Goods Receipt on ERP Deliveries (for SAP IM-MM)
Inbound delivery management is now available for IM-MM-managed storage locations.
With the Goods Receipt on ERP Deliveries application, users can post goods receipts against ERP deliveries, manage batch-controlled or serial-number-controlled materials, execute putaways from a mobile interface, and track progress using clear status indicators.
This application delivers a consistent mobile experience for IM-MM environments - without requiring SAP EWM.

Quality Inspection - Extended Availability
The Quality Inspection applications are now available beyond EWM environments.
Originally designed as an inspection cockpit for logistics teams operating in EWM, they can now be used directly from ERP, with or without EWM in the SAP landscape. Users can monitor open inspection lots, record inspection results, and switch between IM-MM and EWM views as needed.
Usage Decision (UD) management will be delivered in a future release.

Extended Execution Capabilities
1. Goods Movements Review & Reversal (Procurement Package)
Within the Procurement package, Scandium now enables users to review and reverse goods movements associated with purchasing documents, strengthening control and traceability across procure-to-pay processes.
2. Blocked & Quality Stock Transfers (Storage Location Transfer)
Transfers between storage locations are now supported for both blocked and quality stock. Users benefit from a clear overview of quantities by stock type and can execute transfers directly from the storage location selection interface.
Cross-App Enhancements
1. Extended Variant Manager
Variant management has been enhanced across applications.
Users can manage private and shared variants, share them with colleagues, and copy existing variants to tailor them to their own needs.
Managers can prepare optimized variants for their teams and deploy them either as default selections or optional configurations.
2. Display Picking Instructions (WTC)
Outbound delivery texts can now be displayed directly during picking task execution using the Display Picking Instructions capability. This provides a simple and effective way to communicate additional guidance to operators within the operational workflow.
3. Multivalued Scanning - Extended GS1 Support
With the Scandium release, multivalued scanning with GS1 support is now available across additional applications, including:
-
Warehouse Task Confirmation
-
Bin-to-Bin
A single GS1 scan can capture multiple data elements encoded on the label — such as product, batch, HU, and quantity — both for task selection and confirmation steps.
This extension includes:
-
Native GS1 processing without custom development
-
Full compatibility with Zebra and Honeywell devices
-
Configurable rules and mappings to support GS1 and GS1-like labels
By expanding GS1 availability to additional applications, Scandium enables operators to reduce the number of scans, streamline execution flows, and improve data accuracy — regardless of where they enter the process.

Continuous Improvements
Beyond new applications and extended capabilities, the Scandium release introduces multiple improvements across HRC Software applications.
These enhancements are designed to optimize daily execution: fewer clicks, fewer validations, more intuitive navigation, and more consistent user flows across applications.
Key improvements include:
-
Object-oriented navigation, enabling direct access to related documents (HU, deliveries, logistics documents) from operational screens
-
More efficient picking task execution, including faster task selection within Warehouse Task Confirmation
-
Enhanced handling of Alternative Units of Measure (AUoM) when creating ad-hoc Warehouse Tasks, with simplified unit conversions
-
URL support within the Attachment Manager, in addition to documents stored via GOS or DMS
Available across an expanded application scope, these improvements increase workflow fluidity, enhance operator usability, and strengthen execution reliability - without adding unnecessary complexity.
